Scoring:
IRC
competitors from the different classes will be scored together on a
fleet basis through a calculation that determines the ‘average
corrected speed’. For each race a corrected speed will be determined
by taking the actual course distance and dividing that number by the
IRC corrected time. At the conclusion of the series the corrected
speed for each race will be added and the total will then be divided
by the number of races sailed to determine the average corrected
speed for the series. A boat’s worse ‘corrected speed’ will be
excluded from the series if seven or more races have been completed.
The highest average corrected speed wins.
