St Barths Bucket Regatta
Every year the world’s most spectacular superyachts gather in Gustavia’s harbor for the prestigious St. Barths Bucket. The St Barths Bucket Regatta is an invitational regatta. Participation is offered to cruising yachts whose length is 30.5 meters or greater. This three-day invitational regatta features top-notch racing and exclusive shore side social events, all in a breathtaking Caribbean setting.
SuperYacht Racing Association (SYRA)
The SuperYacht Racing Association (SYRA) is a non-profit organization, with membership open to any superyacht owner (or owner’s representative) who participate in superyacht regattas, superyacht event organizers, and superyacht industry related companies.
Yacht Club Costa Smeralda
The Yacht Club Costa Smeralda, founded in 1967 by its President H.H. the Aga Khan, is renowned for organizing international sailing regattas for superyachts, maxi yachts and one-design yachts. The Yacht Club runs regattas during the summer season and offers exclusive services to its members, their guests and yacht owners in Porto Cervo.
Offshore Racing Congress (ORC)
Since its introduction in 2014, the ORC Super Yacht Rule (ORCsy) has grown in popularity in response to use of a VPP-based system that is fully transparent, responsive to its users and measurement-based. ORC has created this system with the cooperation of the world’s leading organizer of SuperYacht events, the SuperYacht Racing Association (SYRA).
US Sailing
As the National Governing Body for the sport of sailing, US Sailing’s mission is to provide leadership for the sport of sailing in the United States. The organization works to achieve this mission through a wide range of programs and events. US Sailing sets the course enabling sailors to enjoy the sport for a lifetime.
World Sailing
World Sailing is the world governing body for the sport of sailing, officially recognized by the International Olympic Committee (IOC). World Sailing is responsible for:
- representing the sailors in all matters concerning the sport.
- the promotion of the sport internationally;
- managing sailing at the Olympic and Paralympic Games;
- developing the Racing Rules of Sailing and regulations for all sailing competitions;
- the training of judges, umpires and other administrators;
